This Privacy Notice explains how Linus collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use our app and related services. Linus is designed as a lightweight date countdown and memory management tool, and we aim to keep the experience simple, transparent, and privacy-conscious.
By using Linus, you understand that some information is needed to create countdown entries, reminders, calendar views, theme cards, and history records. We only use information for operating and improving the app, supporting features you request, maintaining security, and providing customer support.
We use information only for legitimate app functions and related support purposes. This includes creating and managing date entries, showing countdowns, scheduling reminders, saving history, displaying calendar views, preserving theme cards, responding to support requests, and maintaining app reliability.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not use your information for profiling, targeted marketing, or behavior-based ad delivery. We do not sell user data. We do not use user data for AI training, model optimization, or any unrelated secondary purpose.
Your information may be processed or stored in different countries or regions where we, our service providers, or our infrastructure partners operate. This may occur because servers, storage systems, support tools, or backup services can be located outside your home country.
When data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to protect it and to ensure it is handled consistently with this Privacy Notice and applicable data protection laws.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party for their own use.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, backup, database, and basic infrastructure operations. These providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions, and they are bound by contractual obligations to protect data security and confidentiality.
These third parties are not permitted to use user data for advertising, profiling, AI training, model optimization, or any purpose beyond what we instruct. They may not independently access, disclose, redistribute, or reuse your content for their own purposes.
Linus is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that a user under 17 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
Information you provide: You may enter event names, dates, categories, notes, reminder settings, repeat rules, theme preferences, optional background images, feedback messages, and support communications. You may also provide other content you choose to save within the app.
Information collected automatically: We may collect device and app information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, crash reports, performance data, and diagnostic logs. We may also collect limited technical information needed to deliver notifications, maintain sessions, or support app functionality.
Cookies and similar technologies: Where applicable, we may use local storage, app identifiers, or similar technologies to remember preferences, maintain app state, and improve user experience. Linus does not use cookies for advertising purposes.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access your information, correct inaccurate information, delete your information, export your data, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice or as required by law.
Linus does NOT perform facial recognition, biometric analysis, or face template creation. We do not build, store, or use biometric identifiers.
If any image-related processing occurs for an app feature, it is used only to complete the requested function and is deleted after processing unless you intentionally save the result within the app.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our data practices. When we make changes, we will post the revised version in the app or on our website and update the effective date.
If the changes are significant, we may provide additional notice where required by law. Your continued use of Linus after the updated notice becomes effective means you accept the revised terms.
All AI processing, if used at all, is performed exclusively on our own internal servers. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data.
We do NOT use user data for AI training, model fine-tuning, model evaluation, or optimization. Any temporary data used during processing is deleted after the processing task is completed, unless you choose to save the resulting content in your history or records.
We do NOT use AI processing for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, secure infrastructure practices, logging, and monitoring.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we work to reduce risk and limit access to information only to personnel and service providers who need it to operate the app or provide support.
By downloading, accessing, or using Linus, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and agree to the collection, use, and handling of information as described here.
